Has anyone got a tried and tested main course for a dinner party. I have starters and desserts all sorted but quite fancy something done in slow cooker so I can enjoy the night without being stuck in kitchen all evening. Will try the honeyed pork before the evening but not keen on doing rice any ideas!!

I bought a slow cooker on a whim in the sales!!! Then after I got home I thought will I ever use this. It is a prestige not sure of the size will check. After finding this site I am getting quite excited (yes I know I need to get out more). Cutting and pasting recipes galore. Like other users very disappointed with the recipe book provided. Will try some of these but cant believe you can roast a chicken with no liquid - worried about that one. Thanks to everyone who has provided recipes will keep you posted.
