i just recently (last week) bought a new slow cooker its a anisley harriet one .i had a bog standered one (as in 10 quid argos ) but found that you have to put stuff in a single layer .because it was a round one i couldnt do reciepes like chicken thighs etc for more than two people .the ainsley one is oval in shape and brilliant .i got it brand new on ebay for 22 quid .bargin .the other week i did a chilli con carne using braising steak and apart from browning the meat and frying onions .that was all the hard work .put it on in a morning by 7 o clock when my partner came home it was done .

i bought a rice cooker 10 quid from argos .oh my god its the best thing i have ever bought .its so easy .i used to dread doing a indian or chinese meal because i just couldnt boil rice .now we have rice 2 to 3 times a week you just press the buttton and its all done for you perfect every time

i just want to comment on market kitchen .....pile of poo BRING BACK FUNNY SMILING INTERESTING JENNY .SHE TALKED TO YOU BOUGHT A SMILE AND A LAUGH TO THE SCREEN .this is two people telling you how it is. boring. i watched the first 3 episodes and it doesnt compare to gfl........my partner wants jenny back .he gets in at 5.30 and when i watch gfl repeats he sits on comp laughing at her jokes .WE MISS HER SO MUCH .

please can anyone help if you freeze say sausages and then defrost them then cook them say in a casserole and if you have any casserole left for the next day can you reheat it? thanks jools
