Coffee

i am a very big coffee fan, and after seeing the episode of good food the other day, discussing coffee i decided id get my coffe maker out of the cupboard, and have a better coffee than the instant...
but im short of funds at the moment, and wondered is there any cheaper substitutes for paper coffee filters? and what types of coffee would u suggest?

Bero Flour Cook Books

My mum owned an 'old' bero cook book, which used to come free with the bero flour, and she has lost it. It was one of her favourite cookery books, does anybody know where I could find one for her, it would really make her day.

cous cous

i lurve cous cous! what i do with mine is chop up some mushrooms, some bacon, and some onions, and fry them off until everything is cooked through. I then cook the cous cous the normal way, but add butter to the water, so that its absorbed, when the cous cous is nearly ready, i add the mushrooms, bacon and onion.... its delicious - esp wen its a cold day!
or, another is, cook the cous cous, add some tuna.. and squeeze a lil lemon over it... very fresh... better in summer!
