Theo Randall...

Hi all, During the Market Kitchen programme this week, Theo Randall made a Soft chocolate cake with crema di mascarpone...
he baked it in a saucepan in the oven but the recipe says to
bake it in a cake tin in a bain marie...
anyone know why this is?

Nigellas Moroccan chicken

Hi lozlg,
1 cue
500g greek yoghurt
1 tsp dried mint
1-2 tsp salt
leaves from 1 bunch fresh mint, chopped
1-2 garlic cloves, minced
olive oil to drizzle
Peel and dice cue finely and add to yoghurt. Stir in mint, salt and most of the
fresh mint, add minced garlic, stir and tip everything into a serving dish.
Sprinkle over the remaining mint and drizzle with oil.

Did not see programme but I have her forever summer cookbook and she mentions serving the above with moutabal or cacik....moutabal made with aubergines, tahina etc and cacik very similar to greek tsatsiki....yoghurt, cue etc...
If you would like I can type either recipe for you....hope this helps...

Squidgy Choc Cake...

I made the above cake and it was gorgeous, only prob was it cracked badly on the surface. I use a fan oven so set it at 160º circotherm which is the equivalent to what Jane gives in gas mark and cent.
Any tips on why this happened??

cinder toffee/honeycomb

Hi everyone,
Although I registered some time ago, I am only just starting to use this site.
I was looking for a recipe for honeycomb and found one above from cep.
Cep I have just made this and hope it turns out ok as I have had no luck so far with others.
