I intend to get one of these slow cookers. I just need to know as I'm cooking for one here. If I make a load of stew, is it ok to freeze the rest in bags? I just want to make lots and save some for later.
I read an earlier post that supermarket meat should be avoided and to use a local butcher. Unfortunately all the local butchers near me have closed down by the competition from the supermarkets, it really is a shame.
