Makes 1 loaf cake

A delicious delight with natural sweetness from the bananas, and even more sweetness from the syrup, is perfect for a tea-time treat

Method

1. Preheat oven to 180?. Grease and line a loaf tin

2. Beat the eggs together in a small bowl

3. In a large mixing bowl, beat the butter and sigar together. Add the egg gradually, mixing well after each addition

4. Mash the bananas and add them to the batter. Beat with an electric whisk

5. Sieve the flour, baking powder and cinnamon into the bowl together and beat well

6. Pour the batter into the loaf tin until 3/4 full. Smooth the top and bake for 50 minutes, or until golden brown on top
