Stir-fried sprouts with honey, ginger and lemon

This quick and easy mix of light Asian flavours could transform your view of the humble sprout
Ingredients
- 300g Brussels sprouts
- 50g unsalted cashew nuts
- 1 tbsp Olive oil
- 3 cm piece Ginger, peeled and finely chopped
- 1 tbsp Honey
- 2 tsp lemon juice
- finely grated lemon zest, to taste
Method
1. Trim the sprouts and cut them into quarters. Bring a pan of water to the boil and blanch the sprouts for 2 minutes, then drain.2. Heat a frying pan and dry fry the cashews over a medium heat until lightly toasted. Set aside.
3. Pour the oil into the pan, then stir-fry the ginger, honey and lemon juice for 1 minute. Add the sprouts and stir-fry until tender.
4. Toss in the cashews and a little lemon zest to taste and serve at once.

I FORGOT TO MENTION STIR FRY SOME MUSTARD AND CUMIN SEEDS IN A FRYING PAN THEN WEN BROWN ADD BRUSSLES STIR THEN ADD ALL SPICES OR U CAN USE ONE OF PATAAKS SAUCES TO TASTE
instead of honey add mustard seeds and cumin a little bit of termeric and half a tea spoon of CHILLI POWDER OR FIVE GREEN CHILLIES TO GIVE U A KICK
