Home cooks Georgina and Caroline Parker go retro for a midweek treat with this old favourite

Ingredients

  • 5 tbsp tomato ketchup
  • 5 tbsp salad Cream
  • salt and black pepper
  • 1 iceberg Lettuce, shredded
  • 500g large fresh Prawns, shells removed and de-veined
  • triangles of brown bread and Butter, to serve

Method

1. Mix the tomato ketchup and salad cream together and season to taste.

2. Divide the lettuce between 6 serving dishes, arrange the prawns on top and spoon over the sauce.

3. Serve straight away with brown bread triangles.
