1. Place lamb shanks and onions into a large saucepan.2. Mix soup and sauce together with about 3 cups of water and pour over shanks.
3. Cook on low for 4 hours and serve over mashed potato.

Easy and delicious. I was unable to buy packet soup locally so used tinned plus half a cup of water which worked fine. I added onion, celery and carrots (cut into large chunks) and served with creamy mash. I cooked this slowly in the oven rather than on the hob. Lamb was tender and sauce was tasty.
