Get the party swinging with Allegra McEvedy’s Caribbean punch - try varying the recipe with guava juice or passion fruit syrup instead of orange or pineapple
Ingredients
- 125ml white rum
- 125ml dark or navy rum
- 75ml orange liqueur
- 350ml orange juice
- 350ml pineapple juice
- 75ml lime juice
- 75ml grenadine
- 1 tsp Angostura bitters
- ice cubes, to taste
To garnish (optional)
Method
1. Mix all the punch ingredients together, except the ice, in a large pitcher or bowl.2. When you’re ready to serve, fill a tumbler with ice and top with the punch, stir and garnish with maraschino cherries, lime wedges, orange slices, pineapple wedges and/or pineapple leaves (if you wish).
3. Alternatively shake the required amount for each serving in a cocktail shaker and pour into a tumbler to serve ‘straight up’ (without ice) or ‘on the rocks’ (with ice).
