Oat and raisin cookies

Fully of oaty goodness, these can easily be whipped up after school.
Ingredients
- 85g Butter
- 75g brown sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla essence
- 75g raisins
- 40g sunflower seeds
- 50g plain flour
- 75 g porridge oats
- 1/4 tsp Bicarbonate of soda
- 1/2 tsp Salt
Method
1. Preheat the oven to 180C/gas mark 4.2. Cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Stir in the the remaining ingredients until completely combined.
3. Shape into walnut-sized balls and flatten them slightly by pressing down with your hand.
4. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden. Cool on a wire rack.

View all comments (5)I made these yesterday with two 4-year olds and they turned out great without the egg. We made about 20 of different sizes and they are really delicious.
i made these with my son and following other comments used an egg they turned out great and both my Son and 18 month dughter loved them
think the Egg is essential! i didn't watch the video, just went by the ingredients and method - turned out ok, but a bit dry. Having read other comments, i would try again, but with an egg.
I made these (with an egg!!) and they were scrummy... kids loved them.
The video shows egg being added but the recipe does not include an egg!! I have made them using an egg and turned out well
