It's simple.

With just one click, all these ingredients will be put into a basket on mySupermarket.co.uk.

You can select the products you need, compare prices and choose the retailer you wish to buy them from. Or you can leave them in your basket and come back later to buy items from other recipes.

One thing is for sure though, you are guaranteed to find the best value.

Method

1. Preheat the oven to 190C/gas 5 and lightly grease a 20cm round cake tin.

2. Combine the chocolate and butter in a small bowl. Suspend the bowl over a saucepan of gently simmering water and stir until the mixture is melted and smooth. Add the caster sugar and continue to stir until melted.

3. Remove the bowl from the heat. Sift in the flour, cinnamon and a good pinch of salt and mix well.

4. Slowly incorporate the eggs until the mixture is well combined.

5. Pour the mixture into the prepared tin and bake 40-45 minutes.

6. Serve the cake for tea, dusted with icing sugar and double cream or, for special occasions, serve it covered in melted Mars Bars, Rolos and crumbled Flake bars.

This recipe really does contain salt...you already have the icing sugar in it and the salt just brings out the flavours more.

What size eggs are used (is this the same for all recipes when no size egg is specified)?
