Aggie MacKenzie creates the perfect blend of flavours with minty lamb paired with a zingy garlic yogurt
Ingredients
Method
1. Combine the lamb mince, 2 tablespoons of the mint, rosemary, the egg yolk together in a bowl, then season with salt and pepper. Mix well and form into patties.2. Brush each burger with a little olive oil and cook in a heated oiled griddle pan on each side for 3-4 minutes on each side until cooked through but slightly pink in the middle.
3. Meanwhile make a dressing for the burgers by combining the yogurt, garlic and olive oil. Add the rest of the chopped mint and mix well, then season to taste with salt and pepper.
4. Place the lamb patties on the bun half and drizzle over the dressing. Scatter a handful of watercress or rocket and place the other half on top.

We make these at home already, they beat McDonalds any day! The only difference is we do is add garlic to the mince and 1 teaspoon of Schwartz lamb seasoning mix. Also we do not add an egg yolk but a couple of slices of brown bread crumbs to the mix.
If we are really bad we serve in a bun with a slice of mature cheddar and a big dollop of tomato relish.....enjoy!
