Hairy Bikers from Market Kitchen
For a healthier version of the bacon sandwich, Dave from the Hairy Bikers griddles the bacon and serves with slices of juicy plum tomatoes

 

Bacon and tomato sarnie

Method

 
1. Heat a griddle pan then add the bacon and fry about 4 minutes on each side, until crisp.

2. Butter the bread. Lay the bacon on top of one of the slices of buttered bread, so the hot bacon melts into the butter. Layer on the sliced plum tomatoes and season. Place the other slice of buttered bread on top.

4-6 middle-cut Bacon, rind trimmed
Butter, for spreading
2 slices crusty white bread
2 plum tomatoes
