A smoothie from Karen Knowler that feeds the child in all of us, yet is super high in nutrition owing to the secret ingredient - mesquite powder

Method

1. Put all the ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. Add more mesquite, dates or agave nectar (which act as a sweetener) to taste. Enjoy!

Ingredients

  • 1 large banana
  • 130 ml water
  • 1 tbsp agave nectar or 1/2 - 1 medjool dates
  • 1 tbsp mesquite powder
