Popular Aussie chef, Donna Hay, shares her recipe for a very impressive - and very easy - winter dessert

Ingredients

  • 30g plain flour, sifted
  • 50g icing sugar, sifted
  • 75 g ground Almonds
  • 2 egg whites, lightly beaten
  • 80g Butter, melted, plus extra for greasing
  • 160g dark chocolate, melted
  • 8 x 10g squares dark chocolate

Method

1. Preheat the oven to 150C/gas 2.

2. Put the flour, icing sugar, ground almonds, egg whites, butter and chocolate into a bowl and mix well to combine.

3. Spoon half the mixture into 4 x ½ cup-capacity lightly-greased ovenproof dishes. Put 2 chocolate squares per pudding on top of the mixture and top with remaining the mixture.

4. Bake for 20 minutes or until cooked but gooey in the middle. Stand in the dish for 5 minutes before turning out.

5. Serve with raspberries and crème fraîche, if desired.

very easy recipe to follow, however, I subsituted the ground almonds for extra flour and the chocolate insert for white chocolate and it turned out absolutely fine, only cooking time took longer, great recipe will definitely use it again.
