Give your children a cold-weather treat when they come back from school with Tana Ramsay's piping hot drink

Ingredients

  • 50g dark Chocolate, (70% cocoa solids)
  • 300ml full fat Milk
  • mini marshmallows, to serve, optional

Method

1. Warm the jug a little first. Break the chocolate up and put it in the jug.

2. Bring the milk to the boil and pour about a quarter of it over the chocolate.

3. Leave the chocolate to melt for a minute and then whisk until smooth.

4. Return the remaining milk to the heat and bring back to the boil. As soon as it starts to boil, pour over the chocolate mixture, whisking all the time.

5. Serve in small mugs or cups, with an optional sprinkling of marshmallows.
