Spaghetti with clams

Spaghetti with Clams

Method

 
1. Cook the spaghetti in boiling salted water until al dente. Drain and reserve.

2. Heat the olive oil in a large pan. Add the garlic, chilli, parsley, clams and white wine. Cover with a tight-fitting lid and steam for 3-4 minutes until all the clams have opened.

3. Add the cooked spaghetti, toss together, season with salt and pepper, and serve.

500g spaghetti, or spaghettini
1kg live clams, washed thoroughly
100ml White wine
50ml Olive oil
1 garlic clove
1 dried chilli
1 handful Parsley, chopped
