Spaghetti with clams

Theo Randall's pasta with freshly-steamed shellfish, wine, chilli and garlic, makes for a quick and easy seafood dinner
Ingredients
- 500g spaghetti, or spaghettini
- 1kg live clams, washed thoroughly
- 100ml White wine
- 50ml Olive oil
- 1 clove Garlic
- 1 dried chilli
- 1 handful Parsley, chopped
Method
1. Cook the spaghetti in boiling salted water until al dente. Drain and reserve.2. Heat the olive oil in a large pan. Add the garlic, chilli, parsley, clams and white wine. Cover with a tight-fitting lid and steam for 3-4 minutes until all the clams have opened.
3. Add the cooked spaghetti, toss together, season with salt and pepper, and serve.
