Method

1. Cook the spaghetti in a large pan of boiling salted water, according to the directions on the pack until just tender

2. Heat the oil in a large pan and cook the chillies, shallots, garlic, clams and anchovy fillets for 1 minute.

3. Add the tomatoes, wine and lemon juice and bring to the boil.

4. Add the well-drained spaghetti and chopped parsley and toss through until evenly coated.

5. Serve at once with chilled wine.

Very good, thanks. I used dried red chillies and some tinned toms with uncooked ones. I think it best not to cook it for too long. Goes well with Blossom Hill Chardonnay and fresh French loaf with butter.

quick and easy. but i used tiger prawns and cray fish. lovely

i love this recipie easy to do i always have it at my favourite resturant and i always make it for the husband and kids they love it but i like it even better with slittly less chillie and with out the anchovies

simple quick dinner - maybe best use one chilli instead of two if you aren't a big fan of spicey food
