Tart spiced apple and crisp golden oats make a delicious duo in these individual apple crumbles by Frank Bordoni
Ingredients
Method
1. Preheat the oven to 180C/gas 4. Lightly oil 4 large ramekin dishes.2. Peel, core and slice the apples, and place in a large mixing bowl. Add the lemon juice, ginger, half the cinnamon and the apple juice. Mix well and spoon into the ramekins.
3. Combine the nuts, oats, remaining cinnamon, baking powder and maple syrup, and sprinkle over the apples.
4. Bake for about 20 minutes, until the topping is crisp and golden.
