Almond custard

Method

 

1. Heat the custard in a saucepan until almost boiling.

2. Meanwhile, grate the marzipan and add to the hot custard. Stir until the marzipan has melted and the custard is smooth.

3. Serve the hot almond custard with your favourite fruit pie.

85g marzipan, good quality
