Hummous

Method

 
Put all the ingredients in a food processor and pulse until smooth. Check for seasoning, adding more olive oil or a spoon of natural yogurt if it's too thick. This dip keeps in the fridge for up to a week.

Ingredients

1 tin chickpeas, 400g or or 200g dried chickpeas, soaked in water overnight, then cooked in fresh water until soft
1 lemon, juice
2 garlic cloves, crushed
2 tbsp tahini paste, you could use yogurt instead for a different flavour
4 tbsp Olive oil
0.5 tsp Salt, or to taste
