Apple and nutmeg combine in this warming cocktail to make a festive party tipple

Ingredients

  • 1 cooking apples, baked, topped and cored
  • 1 tbsp caster sugar
  • 35 ml brandy, Applejack if available
  • 1 pinches ground nutmeg

Method

Place the baked apple, sugar and brandy into a mug or glass. Fill the glass two thirds full with boiling water and grate a little nutmeg on top. Serve straight away.
