Ching He-Huang from Good Food Bites
Udon noodles and oodles of tasty beef in a spicy Chinese style sauce make a lip smacking supper from Ching-He Huang

Taiwanese style 'nuoromein' (beef style noodles)

Method

1. Put all the ingredients except the noodles into a large saucepan and cook over a medium heat for 90 minutes, or until the beef is tender.

2. Once the beef is tender, bring a large pan of salted water to the boil and cook the noodles for 3 minutes. Drain immediately and rinse the noodles briefly under cold running water to remover the starch.

3. Stir in the oil. Spoon the noodles into a dish and ladle over the beef. Scatter with coriander and serve immediately.
