Simple nutmeg ice cream

Method

 
1. Whip the cream with the nutmeg until it forms soft peaks.

2. Fold in the custard and churn in an ice-cream machine until frozen, or if you don't have a machine, spoon into a plastic container and freeze, beating well at 30 minute intervals, until frozen.

200ml double cream
1 Nutmeg, freshly grated
500ml ready-made custard
