Raw or lightly cooked eggs should not be served to young children, elderly people, invalids and pregnant women, because of the risk of salmonella poisoning.

Method
1. Beat the egg yolks and sugar together until the mixture forms ribbon trails in the bowl. Add the milk, bourbon and brandy. Mix well.2. Just before serving whisk the egg whites into peaks, then do the same with the cream. Fold them into the egg yolk mix and pour it into a large jug. Add a grating of nutmeg over the top and serve.

Egg nog is so lovely to drink during Christmas. Esp when adding spirits to it yum! We don't see enough of this drink in the UK. It's more commonly drank in the US. A must try recipe for all!
