Conjure a simple dessert using store cupboard ingredients with Silvana Franco's delicious recipe for pan-fried pineapple chunks

Ingredients

  • 425 g tinned pineapple chunks, drained and patted dry
  • large knob of Butter
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp desiccated Coconut
  • vanilla ice cream, to serve

Method

1. Heat a large knob of butter in a frying pan.

2. Add in the pineapple, sugar and desiccated coconut.

3. Cook over a high heat for 4-5 minutes until golden brown.

4. Serve straight away, with scoops of vanilla ice cream.
