Pear and macadamia nut crumble
Method
2. Set the oven to 170°C/gas 3. To make the crumble, place the flour, butter, sugar and macadamia nuts in a large bowl and rub the mixture together with your fingers until the mixture resembles coarse breadcrumbs.
3. Pour the pear mixture into an ovenproof dish and sprinkle over the topping. Bake for 15 minutes or so, until golden brown. Serve with vanilla ice cream.

8 William pears, cored and quartered100g Sugar
zest and juice 1 orange
1 cinnamon stick
1 vanilla pod
For the topping:
275g plain flour125g Butter
125g Sugar
100g macadamia nuts, roasted and crushed
