Enjoy a Greek mezze dish with Simon Rimmer's simple recipe for taramasalata, a delicious smoked cod roe dip
Ingredients
- 40g sliced white bread, crusts trimmed off
- 200 g smoked cod roe, skinned
- 200ml extra virgin Olive oil
- juice of 2 Lemons
- 50 ml warm water
- 2 Spring onions, finely chopped
Method
1. Place the bread and smoked cod roe in a food processor.2. Blend together and gradually add the extra-virgin olive oil.
3. Add the lemon juice and warm water and blend until well-mixed.
4. Garnish with the spring onion and serve.
