Sophie Grigson's cool, thirst quenching lemonade tempts the tastebuds with hints of ginger and a touch of tangy lemon grass

Ingredients

  • 1 quantity of shop-bought lemon grass and ginger syrup
  • juice of 2 Lemons
  • 600-900ml sparkling water
  • ice cubes, lemon slices, fresh mint sprigs, borage flowers, (if available) to serve

Method

1. Mix the syrup with the lemon juice and mineral water to taste.

2. Fill tall glasses with plenty of ice, pour over the lemonade and float a slice of lemon, a sprig of mint and a couple of borage flowers if you have them, in each one.
