With this tasty oriental-style pesto, Alan Coxon rustles up lip-smacking, flash-in-the-pan flavouring to enhance all manner of tasty treats
Ingredients
- large bunch fresh Coriander
- 50g Sesame seeds
- 20ml Sesame oil
- 5 ml Mirin, (Japanese rice vinegar)
- 2 cloves Garlic, crushed
- 1 small Thai red chilli
- black pepper
- ready-made noodles
Method
1. Place all the ingredients for the pesto into a blender and blitz until you have a smooth paste.2. Heat a large wok over a high heat and add the pesto, stir in the noodles and stir-fry for a couple of minutes. Serve immediately.
