Enjoy a traditional taste of Christmas with Ed Baines's simple recipe for rum butter, perfect with Christmas pud or mince pies

Method
1. Gently heat the rum in a small saucepan. Pour the warm rum into a food processor.2. Add the butter, a knob at a time, and blend together.
3. Add the vanilla extract, cinnamon, sugar and nutmeg. Blend well.
4. Cover and chill until serving.
