Method

1. Place the cherries in a clean preserving jar. Pour in the brandy and add the cinnamon stick and sugar.

2. Seal tightly and store for 2 months to infuse.

I have never made this recipe before, so please ignore my ignorance but do I leave the cherries whole? Do they break down into the brandy or do I drain at the end infusion.
