Baked winter squash

Ingredients
- 2 winter squash, such as Hubbard, Acorn or Kabocha
- Butter
Method
1. Preheat the oven to 200°C/gas 6.2. Cut the squash in half horizontally and scrape out the seeds. Cut a sliver from the bottom of the squash so that they will stand upright. Place in a roasting pan.
3. Pack the seed cavity with butter, and season to taste
4. Bake for 30-40 minutes until tender.
