I've been a food critic for years and don't normally give any good reviews easily. My preference has always been local foods that taste great, and worthy of mention and recommendation, regardless of the dining experience or the deco of the restaurant. Simplicity has surprisingly top these criteria in all respects. The food has the zing of freshness that is all but lost in restaurants in London these days. It is very pleasant bordering relief to find Lawrence (the Chef) to be passionately focussed on delivering the best with the freshest, and this is proven with the dishes that I have eaten there. Chef Lawrence is a very heartwarming individual who cares enough to take the time to speak with his customers, many of whom I have observed to be very happy with the food. He handled conversations very well and carried himself well. If you are in the vicinity of SE16, do remember and consider this restaurant. The better restaurants are normally the quieter and smaller ones. And they are the ones that need our support and word of mouth to make them known. Go to thre restaurant yourself to try it - you will be delighted and you will wish to also say a few good things about Simplicity in online reviews.
