  this was fantastic we were on holiday and we went there last year and we went back again this year and the fishmongers in the smoke house were so friendly and welomed us and let us look inside and see where they smoke the fish and told us evrything we wanted to know. the first time we visited we saw them filling up the smoke house and the seconmt time we visited we saw them taking the fish out as it had just finished and you could smell the oak chips in the smoke house and away from it!!!!! the fish was so tasty and had a fresh taste to it!!!! at christmas we orderd a smoked salmon from there and you have never tasted anythink like it, it was soooooooo yummy!!!!!!!!! i have had smoked salmon since but its not tasted the same!!!!!!!! fabolous!!!!!!!!! if we go to scotland again next year im sure we will visit again.!!!!!!!!!!!

  me and my dad found this delicatessen in Edingburgh while on holiday in scotland and we went in and i couldnt believe what i saw it was amazing. you walked through the door and piled really high on shelfs was everything you needed to cook up a treat there was everything from fruits and vegetables to fresh baked breads and cakes, pasta, vinegarete and olive oils to try and alcohol ( which dad got lots of!!!) there is also a fresh deli where we brought some parmaham to wrap some fish up in which we brought earlier and we got fennel and everything to go with it!!!!!!!! we were made welcome and if we looked confussed someone checked that we were ok and offered there help if we need it!!!!!!!! we could have spent all day in there if youre ever near go in you will want to go back the next day we ended up bringing a car full of alcohol and oils and vinigeratte home!!!!!! we loved it!!!!!!!!
