    Is it possible to have a special award for a locality ? At Whitby we are blessed with oak smoked kippers and salmon, some of the freshest and tastiest fish as well as the best fish and chip shops and restaurants in the UK, excellent breads and cakes and superb meats and pies - what with heather honey from the surrounding moors surely we have one of the best areas in the country for really excellent produce

    For some reason the Whitby Catch eclipses this modest but excellent fish shop - product lines are the same but prices are cheaper - well worth the effort of visiting - if you dont see what you want, ask for it, they may not have had chance to restock the window
