    Ceri deserves a nomination if only for the historical perspective of her achievement. She is now the only producer of North Wiltshire cheese, which at one point was one of the most popular cheeses in England. Mentioned several times in the novels of Jane Austen it was far more popular and acclaimed than double or single Gloucester, and virtually every farm & smallholding in North Wiltshire produced North Wiltshire Loaf for the London market. More power to her elbow for reviving this forgotten local delicacy.

    Simply the best dry-cured bacon I have ever tasted. I buy the streaky in a big slab and it keeps for several weeks in the fridge wrapped in greaseproof, such is the quality of the cure. Also outstanding is their pancetta style cure, and home made corned beef which makes sandwiches which are nothing short of spectacular. On top of that, the service is exemplary.
