LizA9689 - 230 degrees is not gas mark 6 - that's an typo error. 230 is more like a gas 8 or 9 which is about as hot as most ovens will go so basically turn it on full whack to start with! Hope that helps!

This place is wonderful, a real gem. The food is delicious (their Carrot cake is amazing!), the staff are super-friendly and very helpful. The location is lovely - from the restaurant window you can see across the countryside and also see goats, sheep, horses and beautiful peacocks and fluffy legged chickens - it's a lovely place to relax and enjoy a good meal. The farm shop is also lovely with a great selection of local produce. Fabulous!
