  It's really unprofessional when celebrity chefs give recipes which they have not checked for basic errors like this. I will stick to my usual recipe for Irish Stew.

• On Lamb shanks:

  Actually it is usual to discard all the pot vegetables and herbs before serving braised lamb shanks with mashed potatoes and seasonal vegetables!
