Pepper Water

Recipe Story
My father lived in south india for many years,and learnt how to cook this dish.
This dish is eaten with plain white rice along with a very dry fried meat dish.We have prepared this complete meal for quite a few friends,which they have enjoyed.

EasyIngredients
1/2 pint water
1 tbsp ground cumin
1/2 tsp tumeric
1/2 tsp tamrind extract
1/2 tsp chilli powder
salt to taste
1/2 tsp fenugreek seeds
1 large onion
1/2 tbsp oil
Method
Add the first six ingredients in a deep pan with one pint water and boil for half an hour.
Heat the oil in a pan,fry the onions until partially brown,add the fenugreek seeds and fry until golden brown.
Pour the pepper water to the fried onions and boil for ten minutes
