Lindy's Spaghetti Bolognese

We have used this recipe for 33 years and still enjoy it today,
Its what we have always in the cupboards and is a great stanby
and can be used for a lasagne base to

EasyIngredients
1lb beef mince,
1 onion (diced)
1 tin chopped tomatoes,
1.5 tbsp tomatoes puree,
1 bay leaf,
1 tsp marmite,
1 clove garlic (finely chopped)
1 LEVEL tsp mixed herbs,
1tsp sugar
Water
Method
Dry fry mince in pan, remove put in sieve pour boiling water over to remove fat.
Put back in pan add all the above ingredients. cover with water, bring to the boil and simmer for 45 mins stiring ocassionaly add more water DONT LET IT DRY OUT.
Remove bay leaf before serving
We always make this the night before and reheat the next day
