Recipe Story

I lived in Cyprus for a while and loved there meatballs and needed to find a way of making my own that would even slightly resemble the ones I had there, I'm getting there but I love these ones.

Ingredients


Lean Minced Lamb
Finely Grated Parmesan
Garlic (however much you like!!!)
Oregano
Basil

For the Sauce
Passata
Basil
Onion
Garlic

Method


1. Break up Minced Lamb into small pieces.
2. Add Crush Garlic and add Oregano and Basil Mix into mince well
3. Add Parmesan to Bind
4. Roll into balls slightly bigger than Maltesers!!!
5. Fry off until Mince is completely browned.

Sauce
Fry off Onion and Garlic, add Passatta and Herbs and allow to simmer through.

Put Meatballs in an oven-proof dish and cover with the sauce.

Cook on Gas Mark 4 for 45 mins to 1 hour
