Kasava with Lamb & coconut milk

From my mum back home in Zanzibar. Typical African dish.

Ingredients


1 kg leg of lamb
1 bag frozen kasava
1 large onion - chopped
2 cloves garlic - chopped
3 green whole chillies - chopped
2 tins of coconut milk
Salt to taste

Method


1. Boil kasava in salted water till nice and soft.

2. Lamb cut into bite size.

3. Saute onion, chillies, garlic n lamb and then add in salt to taste.

4. Add in a pint of water and cook till meat is tender.

5. Lastly, add in kasava into the meat then pour in coconut milk and simmer till the sauce thicken.
