I am a Vegetarian and this Vegetarian Chilli Con Carne is one of the 1st Meals I cooked for my Girlfriend and I when I moved out of my Parents home at 21 years old. That was just over 2 years ago now.

Ingredients


Olive Oil
100g Rice
Half a Bag of Meatfree Mince
Half an Onion
1/4 of a Packet of Chilli Powder
1 Tin of Chopped Tomatoes.
Garlic Granules (if desired, add according to taste)

Method


1, Add Olive Oil to a frying Pan and Slice Half an Onion into small chunks and add to the Frying Pan

2, Boil the Rice in a Pan for 15 - 20 minutes. In boiling Water. Stirring in then Proccess.

3, Add Olive Oil to the Frying Pan and then add the Meatfree Mince into the Frying Pan at the same time as the Onions and cook until Mince is browned off and Onions are soft.

4, Once the Mince has browned off, add the Chilli Powder and stir into the Mince.

5, Once the Chilli Powder has been mixed into the Mince add the Chopped Tomatoes and stir into Mince and Onions.

6, If desired, add Garlic Granules to the mix and stir into the mix. Add according to taste.

7, Leave to simmer for 5 - 10 minutes.

8, Once the Rice has softened. Drain the Rice and serve onto the Plates. Once this is done, then serve the finished Vegetarian Chilli Con Carne mix onto the Rice.

9, Now serve.
