off the bone mutton curry

This recipe was passed on to me from my mum who sadly died3 years ago and i still have the tatty piece of paper that i wrote with her for this dish

5llb mutton off the bone
2 peppers
mushrooms
onion
garlic
ginger
chillis
curry powder/chilli powder
coriander
salt and pepper
meat stock
Method
bring to the boil the mitton in pint of water and simmer for 1 hour. add onions and peppers and mushrooms, garlic,ginger bring to boil again and simmer for another hour for meat to tenderise. add some cornflour to thicken sauce and add curry powder and chilli powder(depends on taste as to how much spice you include) once meat is very tender serve with basmati rice and good old fashioned thick cut chips.
