Recipe Story

Well there is no story but it is a favorite with all my family back in India.. when mom asked us what we would like for lunch we would just give her a sly smile and she knew we wanted our favorite Rajmah which is spicy red kidney curry.. so even now when we go back home I know for sure Rajmah will be awaiting me on the table..mmmmmmmm

2 tbsp ghee or oil

Method


Heat the ghee / oil and add the warming spices ie. cinammom, cardammom green and black... Then add the garlic, ginger, green chillies and onions.. fry well for approx.5 mns and then add the dry spices ie. corainder powder, chilli powder and garam masala.. fry well and add the tin of tomatoes.. fry well till oil separates from the sides.. now add the tins of red kidney beans with their liquid and add salt.. bring to boil and simmer gently for five mns.. finally sprinkle with dry roasted kastoori methi, coriander leaves and cream.. check seasoning and add according to taste...
