Recipe Story

When I left home I could just about warm up a tin of beans. After I left home I found the pleasure of cooking and have enjoyed cooking both routine meals and also for guests. I hope my own children will be a bit more competent when they in turn leave and I have encouraged them in the kitchen. My gast was really flabbered after my daughter, Katy (then 14), returned home from her weekend waitressing job and told me she wanted to cook me a meal, it was very tasty, very filling, very quick and easy. It has been a 20 minute staple in our house ever since.

Servings:

4/5

Level of difficulty:

Easy

Ingredients

300g dried pasta
4/5 rashers streaky bacon - cut into strips.
three chicken breasts - cut into good sized cubes.
Tub Philadelphia cheese. or equivalent.
Tub creme fraise.
seasoning to taste

Method

Boil the pasta until soft (10-15 mins).
While the pasta is cooking gently fry the chicken (cooked not browned).
5 minutes into the cooking add the bacon to the chicken.
Drain the pasta.
Once the chicken is cooked add the pasta, cheese and creme fraise and heat through.
Season to taste.
Lovely!

Sounds yummy
I think I might add a sauteed leek to the bacon and chicken mix
