Just been served by two of the most enthusiastic butchers in the Country, and rightly so, their meat is absolutely fantastic! Carry on the good works folks - wish there were more like you.....

It is so refreshing to find a local producer, producing local beef, and butchering and selling the meat themselves. The customer knows exactly what they are buying and where it came from. To date, I have tried a range of 'A Taste of Galloway' products, and I have found the quality of the meat, and the service they provide, to be of the highest standard.

"A Taste Of Galloway" has a great selection of good quality produce- and very tasty. The people involved in selling the produce are great to work with.

Producers of Pure Galloway beef, Blackface lamb & Mutton. All reared on the farm & butchered by themselves on the farm. The breeds are indicative to the region and the products are sold at local farmers market throughout Dumfries & Galloway.

"Finest Scottish pure Galloway beef & blackface cross lamb naturally reared on the beautiful lands & hills of Dumfries & Galloway." That's the "blurb" on the leaflet I got yesterday when I purchased a lamb joint & a mutton joint from them at Drumlanrig farmers market. I cannot rave enough about the quality, taste and tenderness of the meat, it was complete heaven! Native breeds reared on the land they first came from, processed locally by very knowledgable producers who obviously care about their animals and their customers. Can't wait to purchase a half lamb and try the beef, which I'm sure will be equally excellent- very reasonable prices as well! Thank you for the best meal I've had in YEARS, I will certainly be back for more.... YUM!
