A God-send of a lady and a company! Long may they continue! We have been customers since Sarah started and are still as keen now as we were then. The produce is always top quality as is the service - Sarah is SO nice, always has time for a chat and is full of wonderful tips for the veg. and fruit. The new online service is BRILLIANT and appears completely foolproof, even to a computer-phobe like me. Sarah obviously checks everything as last week I accidentally ordered 14kg. of new potatoes which she changed to my normal amount without bothering me.

We have been customers since this time last year and have been delighted with the very high quality of the obviously fresh vegatables and also the meat received, all from local producers. Sarah is a joy, so friendly and willing to oblige and it seems that nothing is too much trouble. Long may the family concern and local farmers prosper.

LOCALS BEST Hippocrates said “Let food be thy medicine, and let medicine be thy food.” Research to date into nutrition would appear to support this theory. We are so grateful to Local’s Best and their helpful advice which comes with each weekly box to ensue that the produce is cooked healthily, and enjoyed to the full.. They are our heroes who grow, harvest and distribute their lovely organic fare so important to our well-being. The administration is no mean feat either. We therefore nominate wholeheartdly ‘Local’s Best’ for the Local Food Hero Award Evelyn Goodger.

I have been using Locals Best since October and the quality is great. I have tried some veg that I hve never had before. The website has recently changed and it is now dead easy to change the contents of your veg box and add more items.

It is just so lovely to have fresh veg delivered without loads of packaging and to feel we are supporting local farmers and if not, at least British Farming. We have also tried veg that just does not appear in the supermarkets and is delicious.

I've been a customer for the best part of a year and if all organisations worked like Sarah's the world would be a better place! In all weathers she delivers the wonderful produce promised, when promised, and the quality of all the food is absolutely first class. Communications are excellent, and prices incredibly good value for money. I feel very lucky to live in Sarah's catchment area!!!

Brilliant! Fresh local veg straight to your door. The new online ordering service to select you own box contents just made it even better. Everything is fresh and tasty and we've discovered new things to try - swiss chard - wow - delicious! As for the service, you can't fault it, friendly, efficient and reliable. Localsbest diserves top prize on all counts.

When still a brand new customer I was only just recovering from major surgery and could not lift anything. Not only was Sarah a cheery face once a week but she also took the time and trouble to carry our large veg box into the kitchen, week after week. So not only were we getting lovely local veg, I also got to know someone who took a real interest in her customers. We have recommended her to lots of people and we have also enjoyed eating veg which is very fresh and hasn't travelled miles to get here. Who knew that a carrot's taste could make you exclaim.

I've always believed that it would be good to be able to purchase locally grown food and was delighted to discover this source last year. AsI am disabled being able to order via my computer is great. It is good to be able to order exactly what you need. Sarah is always willing to listen and has always been most helpful if I have had any problems negotiating the site. An excellent service. Liz

Since getting my regular veggie box, I have tried loads of things that I would never had thought of buying. Sarah gives lots of fabulous and easy recipe ideas which are enough to entice even the most ardent veg haters! My husband is now converted! Friendly, efficient and a pleasure to do business with. Sarah's service is fantastic - she works hard to get tasty local veg picked the same day to our doorsteps. She is always happy to correspond with her clients, and consults her clientele on the definition of "local" for items that still come from a relatively short way away, and works with her growers to add variety to the produce she can offer. Not many people can offer padrone peppers which were a real treat last year! Even better, every week she provides some great ideas on how to use produce, widening my repetoire and the family diet!

The local veg box company with the personal touch, wonderful produce with a great online system that lets you select your own items. My toddler loves rummaging through the box and choosing his own dinner too!

Fantastic fresh produce all locally grown. Sarah has always been prepared to swap an item in the box if we don't like it or are growing it ourselves, and the new online shop where you can customise your veg box is great. I always look forward to trying out this week's recipe too!

Superb quality of food all sourced locally to Beds, Bucks and Oxfordshire, Local's Best is my prefered supplier of gorgeous meat, veg, honey, eggs, chutneys. Excellent value too, and excellent service. Vote for Local's Best!

I particularly like the new online facility to allow changes to the seasonal contents of my box. There is no wastage and in the past year my kids have discovered many new vegetables that they actually enjoy!

This box scheme is great. All LOCAL FRESH produce- fruit, vegetables, meat and poultry. Lettaces are picked the morning of delivery and still have dew on the! Sarah the owner sources wonderful local food which can only be good for the suppliers and the consumers.The staff are helpful and friendly and nothing is too much trouble. Each week with our box we get a newsletter contaning a new recipe for one of the items in the box. I cannot praise them enough.
